Eligibility & care

Getting started

Who is eligible for treatment?

Eligibility is decided by a licensed provider after reviewing your assessment and health history. Not everyone who completes an assessment is a candidate for medication.

Which states do you serve?

VitaRx can only treat patients located in states where its providers are licensed at the time of the visit. State list to confirm

Do I need a video visit?

That depends on your state’s telehealth rules and your provider’s judgment. Some visits happen by video; some follow-ups can happen by secure message.

Do I need lab work?

Depending on your health history and plan, your provider may recommend lab testing before or during treatment.

Is telehealth right for everyone?

No. Some conditions need in-person care, and your provider will tell you if that applies to you. Telehealth is not for emergencies — call 911.

Medication

Treatment and refills

Which treatments do you offer?

See Treatments for the current list. We only offer peptide treatments that a licensed U.S. pharmacy can lawfully prepare, and only on a provider’s prescription.

Are these treatments FDA-approved?

Some are FDA-approved and some are compounded. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual prescription; they are not FDA-approved and haven’t been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Each treatment page says which applies.

Who fills my prescription?

Prescriptions are sent to a licensed U.S. pharmacy, which ships to you. VitaRx is not a pharmacy and does not manufacture medications.

What about side effects?

Your provider will go over known side effects before prescribing, and you can message your care team at any time. Seek emergency care for severe symptoms.

How do refills work?

Request a refill through your patient account. Your provider reviews it and approves it when appropriate.

Billing

Pricing and payment

Do you accept insurance?

VitaRx is a direct-pay telehealth service and does not bill insurance.

How much does a treatment cost?

Pricing to confirm Each treatment page will show its price, including what the visit and the medication cost.
