Questions people ask first
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Some are made naturally in the body, and some are used as prescription medications. VitaRx offers only peptide treatments that a licensed pharmacy can lawfully prepare, and only on a provider’s prescription.
Who decides whether a treatment is right for me?
A licensed provider, after reviewing your online visit and health history. Not everyone who completes a visit is a candidate for treatment.
Are these treatments FDA-approved?
Some are, and some are compounded. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual prescription; they are not FDA-approved and haven’t been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Each treatment page says which applies.
Do you accept insurance?
VitaRx is a direct-pay telehealth service and does not bill insurance.
How do refills work?
Request a refill through your patient account. Your provider reviews it and approves it when appropriate.
